PowerPoint issue affecting Mac users
Dear colleagues,
A lot of us has been experiencing issues with opening PPT files on Mac from SharePoint on Teams, using the PowerPoint desktop application.
This issue has been report to Microsoft and we are following up regularly with them, to check on the progress of the resolution.
Until permanent fix is in place, we are recommending following workarounds:
1) Open your presentations in browser, instead of using the app.
2) Use VDI (Windows based virtual machine) to work on the file. To access VDI go to: gate.zuehlke.com.
3) Download a copy, make changes, and re-upload it. Please be mindful not to overwrite the file if a colleague has worked on it recently.
